1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create or use an account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, username, password or other authentication information, and account preferences.

Subscription and transaction information. We may collect information about your selected plan, subscription status, billing history, transaction identifiers, and the payment provider used. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Google Play for eligible Android purchases. YidFlicks generally does not receive your complete payment-card number from those providers.

Device and usage information. We may collect information about your browser, device type, operating system, app version, IP address, general location derived from an IP address, pages or screens viewed, videos and games accessed, playback activity, search activity, error logs, and interactions with the Services.

Communications. If you contact YidFlicks or submit a request, we may retain the information you provide and our response.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
• Create and manage accounts and subscriptions.
• Authenticate users and protect account security.
• Process transactions and maintain billing and subscription records.
• Personalize content and remember user preferences.
• Measure performance, diagnose errors, and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations.

3. How Information May Be Shared

We may share information with service providers that help operate the Services, such as payment processors, Google Play, video-hosting or streaming providers, website and app hosting providers, analytics providers, security providers, and technical support providers. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the Services, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce our agreements, or complete a business transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Children and Family Use

A paid YidFlicks account must be created and managed by an adult. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising children’s use of the Services and deciding which content is appropriate for their family. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in a manner that requires parental consent and that consent was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

YidFlicks and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, understand use of the Services, improve performance, and protect security. Browser or device settings may allow you to limit some of these technologies, although parts of the Services may not function properly if they are disabled.

6. Subscription Cancellation and Account Deletion

You do not need to delete your YidFlicks account to stop paying. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal through the applicable billing provider, while keeping the account allows you to retain your login information if you subscribe again later.

To request deletion of your YidFlicks account and associated personal information, email support@yidflicks.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate. An active subscription should be canceled through the provider that bills it before the account is deleted.

We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes. Retained information will remain subject to this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain an account, complete transactions, resolve disputes, protect security, enforce agreements, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it is collected.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No website, application, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Rights may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.

10. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on third-party services. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy. YidFlicks is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the Effective Date above and provide additional notice when required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after an updated policy takes effect is subject to applicable law.
